Nate Powell is a New York Times best-selling graphic novelist. He began self-publishing at 14, and graduated from School of Visual Arts in 2000. His work includes March, the graphic novel autobiography of congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis; The Lost Hero, Any Empire, Swallow Me Whole, The Silence Of Our Friends, and The Year Of The Beasts. His work has received an Eisner Award and two Ignatz Awards as well as many nominations.
